It is particularly well-suited for the creation of polyfluorinated monomer liquid crystal materials. The production of a wide range of performance liquid crystal materials greatly depends on the ability of the mixture of polyfluorinated monomer liquid crystal materials with low viscosity and high dielectric anisotropic nematic liquid crystal materials to increase the dipole distance of molecules, decrease response time, improve the apparent non-performance of the liquid crystal materials, and improve clarity.

Application

Penta-fluorophenyl esters for peptide synthesis can be made from pentafluorophenol. It is employed in the production of vulcanized polymers and pentafluorophenyl esters for peptide synthesis. Heterocyclic acid derivatives and peptide coupling are more applications for it. Pentafluorophenyl formate, a formulation agent for amines and amino acids, is made using this process. Novel reagents with extremely diastereoselective acetal cleavage can be synthesized using it.
