Application

The following procedures are involved in the 2-chloro-6-phenol preparation process: (1) Fill the reactor with orthophenol. Then, gradually add dropwise sodium chlorate aqueous solution. The molar ratio of sodium hypochlorite to orthophenol is (1.0~2.0). After the reaction, add diluted hydrochloric acid to the reactor, adjust the pH to 5-6.5, and let it stand for the above. 1. Heat the reactor to 0-77°C and maintain it there for the reaction to produce a combination of 2-chloro-6-fluorophenol. The preparation process may be produced on an industrial scale in huge quantities, is inexpensive, and easy to use.
