Application

Method for preparing 1,2-dialkoxy-3-fluorobenzene via intermediate 2-fluoro-6-halogenated phenol：

Using 2-fluorophenol as the starting material, the intermediate 2-fluoro-6-halogenated phenol is produced by sulfonation, halogenation, and deprotection; this intermediate 2-fluoro-6-halogenated phenol is then etherified and added. One can make 1,2-Dialkoxy-3-fluorobenzene in multiple steps, such as hydroxyl re-etherification, or by hydroxylating and etherifying the intermediate 2-fluoro-6-halogenated phenol. This approach is appropriate for industrial production because of its high yield and low cost.
