Fill a 12x75mm borosilicate test tube with 1.0 mL of the Lir(ppy)3 stock solution in CHCN. The test tube has a rubber septum. N,N-diisopropylethylamine (28.4 mg) and pentafluoropyridine (16.9 mg) were added to the mixture. After bubbling argon for five to ten minutes to degas the reaction at zero degrees Celsius to prevent the evaporation of N,N-diisopropylethylamine and volatile starting ingredients, remove the outlet needle and inflate under regular argon. Position under force. Insert the test tube into the bath of light. Submerge the lower portion of the tube in a bath of 45°C (or 65°C) water. Both GC-MS and 19F NMR were used to monitor the process. Use 0.3 mL of CDCl3 to dilute 0.3 mL of the reaction mixture. A rotating evaporator is used to extract CH3CN once the basic material has been used up entirely. Apply two milliliters of deionized water to the residue. EtOAc (5 x 1 mL) can be used to extract residue. Over anhydrous MgSO4, the mixed organic compound 2,3,5,6-tetrafluoropyridine was dried. In Figure 1 [2], the synthesis method is displayed.

1.02 g (11.0 mmol) of propylene chloride (Ic), 0.01 g (0.10 mmol) of CuCl, and 8.85 g (10.0 mmol) of organozinc compound XXII were combined and cooked for two hours at 55–60 °C using Afghani gas. After cooling to the front, steam distill and treat with 10 cc of water. After being separated, the organic phase was dried on MgSO4. We separated out 1.70 g (GLC) or 83% of a mixture that contained 2,3,5,6-tetrafluoropyridine and ketone XXIV. 2,3,5,6-tetrafluoropyridine has a width of 68%; the following cm-1 infrared spectrum data are for it: λmax275nm (logε3.46); the wavelengths are 1842, 1730, 1642, 1465, 1409, 1269, 956, and 859. In Figure 2, the synthesis route is displayed.
