Application

To create 2,6-difluorophenol, a hydroxyl group is added to the amino group on the benzene ring using 2,6-difluoroaniline as the starting material [1]. The following are the precise steps:
2.6-3,difluoroaniline's aqueous phase preparation: After cooling to -5°C, add 19.0 L of sodium hypochlorite aqueous solution and 14.4 L of the produced 30% sodium hydroxide aqueous solution to the reaction kettle. Stir and add 2,6-difluoroaniline in stages. Fluorobenzamide (4.0 kg, or 25 mol) is added in total. Stir for an additional two hours after the addition is finished. Subsequently, 3.0 kg (23 mol) of light red 2,6-difluoroaniline was obtained by adding 2.1 kilogram of sodium bisulfate at ambient temperature, stirring for 10 minutes, steam distilling, liquid separating, and distilling under reduced pressure. The yield is 92.0% and the purity is 98.3%.
