Application
Preparation method:
Add 0.1mol tetrafluoroterephthaloyl chloride, 300ml of tetrahydrofuran, 76g of NaBH4, and 10g of cocatalyst to a 500m1 four-necked flask. Then, gradually increase the temperature, keep it at 85°C, and let it react for six hours. After cooling, use a suction filter and gradually add the filtrate to a 10% hydrochloric acid solution, stirring to maintain the acidity of the mixture. Separate the organic layer after giving it a good stir, then rinse with water until it turns neutral. 210g of 99% pure and 99% yield tetrafluoroterephthalol was obtained by removing the solvent at reduced pressure.
