Following the substitution of potassium fluoride for the chlorine on the benzene ring, 1,2,3,4-tetrafluorobenzene is obtained by hydrolysis and decarboxylation processes.‌

二:Considering 2,3,4-trifluoroaniline as the initial substance: The following steps are part of this method: 2,3,4-trifluoroaniline first forms a diazonium salt by a diazotization process, and then it combines with fluoroboric acid to generate a diazonium salt of fluoboric acid. Lastly, 1,2,3,4-tetrafluorobenzene is obtained by a high-temperature thermal breakdown reaction.‌
