Application
The organic compound 2,6-Difluoroaniline has the chemical formula C6H5F₂N. It is a white crystal with potential use as a crucial raw element for chemical synthesis. It can be used to make polymers, dyes, photosensitizers, medications, and other organic substances. Due to its high solubility and thermal stability, 2,6-fluoroaniline is a key component in some chemical processes. Additionally, it can be added to the anode materials of lithium-ion batteries.
2.6-Difluoroaniline Synthesis: Fill a four-neck reaction bottle with 2.6-difluorobenzamide 15.86 (0.1mol), the prepared base 100g (0.125mol), and the rib solvent. Cool to 0–5 °C, then add chlorine gas. React for approximately two hours until the solution turns clear, then stop. Following steam distillation of the reaction solution, the organic layer is removed to yield crude 2.6-diphenylamine, which is subsequently distilled to yield the desired product. 11.58g, yield 88%, content 98%.
