Applications in organic synthesis:

In a dry reaction flask, dissolve para-ester-substituted aryne (0.50 mmol) and azobisisobutyronitrile (17.8 mg, 0.11 mmol) in 1,2-dichloroethane (2 ml) , then tetrafluoroethanesulfonic acid (0.48 mmol) was slowly added to the reaction mixture obtained above. The resulting reaction mixture was stirred for 4 hours at 80°C. After the reaction is completed, the obtained reaction mixture is cooled to room temperature, and water and ethyl acetate are added to the above reaction mixture. Separate the organic layer and wash it with brine. Dry the organic layer over anhydrous sodium sulfate. Filter to remove the desiccant and concentrate the filtrate under vacuum to evaporate the solvent. The resulting residue can be separated and purified by silica gel column chromatography. The target product molecule is obtained.
